Privacy Policy

1. Overview

MarginVisibility provides snapshot-based product profitability analysis based on CSV uploads provided voluntarily by users. We do not connect directly to ecommerce platforms and we do not access external systems.

2. Data We Collect

Account Data:

• OAuth login via Google, Microsoft, Apple or Facebook
• Name and email address provided by OAuth provider
• Subscription tier and billing status

Business Data (Uploaded by You):

• SKU identifiers
• Units sold
• Revenue
• Inventory levels
• Optional cost data
• Optional date fields

We only process data that users explicitly upload.

3. Data Storage & Security

MarginVisibility is built on Base44 infrastructure.

Base44 is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified.

All applications use industry-standard encryption for:

• Data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Data at rest (encrypted storage)

We do not sell or share user business data.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded snapshot data is retained for up to 24 months to allow historical comparisons.

Users may:

• Delete individual uploads at any time
• Delete their account at any time (OAuth unlink)

Upon account deletion, associated uploads are permanently removed.

5. Data Processing Purpose

We process uploaded data solely to:

• Calculate SKU-level profitability
• Detect dead stock
• Identify margin risks
• Generate AI summaries (if enabled by tier)

We do not use uploaded data to train external AI models.

6. Cookies & Sessions

Authentication relies on OAuth providers and secure session handling. We do not use advertising trackers.

7. International Transfers

Data may be processed within secure cloud infrastructure compliant with international security standards.

8. Your Rights

Users may:

• Access their uploaded data
• Delete their uploads
• Delete their account
• Request a full structured data export (see GDPR Rights page)
